would come back again
The women's dorm was super clean and bright. Showers worked great and had good pressure. The breakfast was pretty basic with coffee and bagels, but the kitchen had everything you’d need if you wanted to cook. The location's key, close to food spots and parks. A nice cozy atmosphere everywhere. A sweet game room!

Had a great time with my friends! The location is fantastic, and we enjoyed visiting McKinley Park and William Land Park. It was perfect for relaxing and hanging out. The place is clean and safe. It's nice that it can be rented out for private events. Just a heads up, there’s a quiet vibe here, so don’t expect a party atmosphere but perfect if you're looking for some chill time.
However, I felt the lighting in the common areas was a bit dim, which made it hard to hang out comfortably. It could use a bit more brightness.

Diving into the dining scene nearby was a treat! Grange Restaurant & Bar and Ella Dining Room & Bar offered dishes that sang with fresh, local flavors. Plus, the hostel vibe took me back—clean shared spaces and friendly staff made me feel right at home.
But let's keep it real. the noise from the outside kept me tossing and turning all night—modern sound-proof windows would have worked wonders. Still, the charm of the mansion and the convenience of nearby eats helped me keep my spirits up.

The historic ambiance was charming and allowed us to immerse in the building's past. The game room provided a unique touch, making our downtime enjoyable.
The proximity to the street came with some noise, disrupting our sleep at times.
